I was having a little bit of shopping withdrawals since it’s been a while that I’ve actually purchased something for myself other than food. I also ran out of foundation and concealer (bottom left) — and so that was the perfect excuse for me to go shopping. I went to my local mall and stopped by MAC to replace my empty bottles and decided to pick up a few more things from Sephora… and thats how my quick run to the mall became a mini shopping spree loll.

While I was at MAC, the Ambering Rose Blush (top left) caught my eye and after I tried it on I fell in love. It’s a rosy brown color with a light gold finish. I’ve been looking for something that can give me a light highlight AND color to my cheeks and this was perfect. Can’t wait to actually wear it and take some pictures.

The three smaller tubes are products from Benefit Cosmetics that I’ve been dying to get my hands on. But being that they are pretty pricy I haven’t been able to purchase any (balling on a budget ). On my way to check out at Sephora I saw a box with all 3 tubes for a very affordable price. Although the tubes were small, they are ideal for people like me who want to try it out first before actually spending money on the larger tubes.

Tube 1 – “That Gal” primer – I’ve tried many different primers and I am currently using milk of magnesia. Although I am happy with the results, it makes such a mess! I’m going to try this and see if it can give me the same or better results.

Tube 2 – “Girl meets Pearl” – A luminizer I’ve heard so many good things about. It’s springtime and I am aiming for glowy looks so I was very excited to pick this up.

Tube 3 – “The POREfessional” – I have really large pores on my cheeks and I’m a bit self-conscious about them. I’ve seen some great reviews on this and so of course I’m going to give it a try.

Graduation is approaching and that means “get ready to take pictures!”. The eyelashes pictured above are from Sephora and I was running low so I made sure to get another pack. I like to reuse my lashes — which I plan to do with these.

I’ve been applying my eyelashes with my fingers and it is super frustrating and sometimes unsuccessful. The eyelash applicator was very much needed!

Too bad I’m stuck wearing scrubs to work and I don’t actually have the opportunity to be creative with my attire = ( But until then I’ll just continue to dress up on the days I’m off from work.

Neon colors are really fun to play with. Especially during spring and summer. But the one thing I make sure to do is to keep it calm and simple because you can easily look too bright and too colorful. This is why I chose the nude pumps and bronze necklace. To me, the detail on my dress was enough and I didn’t feel I needed much embellishment. A dress like this can be worn during the day or night.
